One of the strengths of my Bachelor of Counselling and Psychotherapy (IKON University) is its Humanistic and Transpersonal foundation. For me, that creates a wide and deep scope of practice. It goes beyond singular or linear thinking. Thus, I don’t just have the knowledge of one therapeutic model (e.g. CBT or Gestalt), but many. This way I can integrate various techniques, ideas and theories so that each client has their own multifaceted therapy that is just right for them at this time in their life. And always the person is at the centre of their therapy.
Particular aspects of my training include –
Trauma Informed Care
Group Work
Ethics
Trauma and the Body
Dance and Movement Psychotherapy
Inner Relationship Focusing
Over the past few years I have been working in different capacities-
